There are two airlines that fly into the area from San Jose daily:

Sansa Airlines flies to Palmar Sur and to Drake Bay, check their website for current prices.

Nature Air flies to Palmar Sur and to Drake Bay, check their website for current prices.

If you decide to travel by ground, you can choose between taking a bus or renting a car.

 Solid Car Rental is the recommended partners of Jungle Al's, providing dependable and affordable vehicles. Renting a car makes exploring easier and is less time-consuming than taking a bus. If you arrive in Palmar Norte, you can rent a vehicle from LECO Car Rentals, contact them at +506-786-6000.

If you do rent a car, after you make your reservations with us... here's what to do:

Drive to either Sierpe or Drake Bay (see map to get an idea where these are) and park the car in a local "parqueo".

In Sierpe, find Bar/Restaurant Las Vegas and speak with the proprietor Jorge about the boat to Jungle Al's (the charter boat costs $150.00). Since we will know you are coming, Jorge will be expecting you. While waiting for the boat, be sure to enjoy a fresh fish meal or some of the restaurant's other delicious fare... Alternatively, you can also ask about Water Taxi Service to San Josecito Beach ($25.00 per person). The Water Taxi will drop you off on the beach, a 25 minute walk from Jungle Al's.

In Drake Bay, (remember, a 4x4 is the only type of vehicle that will get you to Drake Bay) drive to the end of the road at the beach and ask around for a boat to Jungle Al's.
